Home Care & Hospice Internship Opportunities

The Home Care & Hospice Association of NJ, a non-profit trade association, is pleased to announce the availability of internship opportunities in our Iselin office. These internships are open to college students seeking school credit and would serve as a valuable experience for those majoring in communications, political science, marketing, business, or a related field. The selected candidates would benefit from direct exposure to, and hands-on involvement in, public affairs, government relations, membership recruitment, event planning, as well as educational programming support. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your skills, while making a difference in peoples’ lives.

We are seeking an energetic individual who is a goal-oriented team player. The internship requires confidence, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and strong writing ability. Additionally, the candidate for this position should possess strong social media skills.

Our Association’s mission is to serve as the catalyst for excellence in home care and hospice by informing, educating, assisting and advocating for those in need. This group includes home care & hospice providers and the patients and families they serve throughout New Jersey since 1973. Our members are comprised of home health agencies, health care service firms, hospices, along with any organizations that provide services for those in the home care industry. The Home Care & Hospice Association of NJ is recognized as a major force for home care by providing a voice for home care in NJ by effectively having an impact on state and national legislation, as well as regulations vital to home health care.

As our intern you will be responsible for assisting staff in the day to day activities supporting these goals. 

Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as social media platforms. They must have the ability to pass background and drug tests.
