Virtua is looking to add a Full-Time, Clinical Care Manager – Home Health, to our team in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

As a Clinical Care Manager – Home Health, you will oversee direct operational functions of the Home Care CDI/Coding Program. The Clinical Manager will interface with operational and clinical leadership to assist in identification of operational and clinical best practices are represented in proper documentation of clinical outcomes as well as monitoring for appropriate clinical documentation and quality coding. This position is also responsible for departmental workflow as well as creating and implementing programs to ensure all diagnoses are coded according to coding guidelines.

Position Responsibilities:
• Utilizes analytics and identifies workflow processes
• Ensures documentation supports the submission of relevant ICD-10 codes
• Provides ICD-10 OASIS C2 training as needed to staff
• Reviews medical documentation to determine if assigned diagnosis and ICD-10 codes are appropriately assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree, required. MSN preferred in health-related field
• 3 years of Home Care experience, 2 years supervisory
• Specialty certification in OASIS C2 and ICD-10
• CPR certified
• Registered Nurse-NJ License, required
• EMR knowledge
• Certified professional Home Care Coder or willingness to obtain within first year of position

Home Care & Hospice Internship Opportunities

The Home Care & Hospice Association of NJ, a non-profit trade association, is pleased to announce the availability of internship opportunities in our Iselin office. These internships are open to college students seeking school credit and would serve as a valuable experience for those majoring in communications, political science, marketing, business, or a related field. The selected candidates would benefit from direct exposure to, and hands-on involvement in, public affairs, government relations, membership recruitment, event planning, as well as educational programming support.
