Topic: Identify common deficiencies found during a home health and hospice survey.

Home Health and Hospice agencies are officially surveyed by the Department of Health’s Division of Health Facilities Evaluation & Licensing to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, clinical practice and documentation. This program will review level 1 and level 2 standards, priority G-tags, situations where a Condition Level deficiency may be cited and when deficiencies could trigger an extended survey. Attend this interactive program and learn what survey issues are trending in NJ, participate in mock-survey scenarios, the creation of a plan of correction, sample staff interview questions, and receive examples of the exact documents used by the NJ Department of Health- Licensing and Survey Evaluation Team.
