Home Health Care by County Listing
A home health agency typically provides intermittent skilled visit services. At a minimum they must provide at least skilled nursing, home health aides, and physical therapy. Generally they also provide occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, medical social work and nutrition counseling.
Most private pay as well as Medicare and Medicaid offer a home health benefit. Note that certain insurance companies may restrict use to agencies they contract with.
All home health care providers are Licensed as a home health agency by the New Jersey Department of Health and certified by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
An agency may elect to be accredited by one of the following: - Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) - Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) - The Joint Commission (TJC)
