Mike received his Nursing Degree from Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA in 1990. His first position after graduation from nursing school was at Sacred Heart Hospital (www.shh.org), in Allentown, PA, where he worked for over 7 years in the Emergency Department. He completed his Certification in Emergency Nursing (www.ena.org), and several other continuing education programs (ACLS, APLS, Neo-Natal Resuscitation, TNCC, PHRN) in order to advance his knowledge and career in this area of specialization.

After leaving the emergency setting, Mike’s career direction changed, assuming a role in the home infusion industry. This entry into management provided a solid foundation in leadership principals, and allowed his career to advance into the Director role in the home health care area. Mike’s passion is truly in home care, where he has managed Home Health, Hospice and Home Care services in several states as a Regional Director, Vice President of Operations and in his current role as Division Director for BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. At BAYADA, Mike provides oversight to 11 offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, providing Home and Community Services to the Medicaid and underserved populations. Mike’s goal is to provide long-term in home supportive care, as well as Private Duty Nursing care, to prevent the need for long term care placement of clients. Mike has served on the Public Policy Committee at the Pennsylvania Home Care Association and currently serves on the NJ Home Care & Hospice Association Board of Directors and Government Affairs Committee. He leads the Medicaid Work Group for the Association, where he continuously advocates for consumers, protecting and enhancing the services provided.
